Image sizing for panoramic photomurals
Panoramic photomurals are listed by location with a 4 digit # code for location, a brief name of an image and a size #.
Images can be sized to fit your requirements. The height is 1 with length ratio given by the number shown after each mural name. So if an image displays a size of 4.9 this would be at 1 inch tall = 4.9 inches long, or at 1 foot high = 4.9 feet long. If you want the mural a certain height say 6 inches then you would multiply this by the ratio number to get the length the image would blow up to. So if the mural size ratio is say 8.2 and you want it 6 inches high then; 6 x 8.2 = 49.2 So at 6 inches high the image would be 49.2 inches long.
If you wished to fit an image with say a size of 4.9 into a space that was say 10 feet long you would divide the length that you want by the image size # to get your height. So 10 feet divided by the image size of 4.9 would give you 2.04 feet in height. You can use what ever unit of measurement you wish to work with.
To figure out total square feet for cost, multiply the height in feet by length in feet. So 2 feet high by 10 feet long = 20 square feet.
If working in inches then multiply the height in inches by the length in inches then divide this # by 144 to get square feet.
If you wish to work in metric the conversions are; 1 centimeter = 0.3937 inches, 1 meter = 39.37 inches.
