Custom panoramic photomurals can be created from your own photos. The size of the final output image will depend on the quality of the material that you are providing. 35mm or greater film images with low grain quality film are best for reproduction. If the film and images are high enough quality images can be produced up to 3 feet or more tall with good results.
We can work with images from a digital camera as follows.,This is a very approximate guide, images can be grainy depending on your camera quality and settings; # refers to top resolution setting on your camera in mega pixels for this size image generally murals can blown up to the following sizes; 2 = 6 inches high, 3 = 1 foot high, 4 = 2 feet high, 5 = 3 feet high, 6.5 = 4 feet high, 10 = can be pushed to 8 feet high if camera turned vertical.
With film depending on film quality and grain, 35mm = 3 feet high, mid format = 4-5 feet high, large format 4x5 or larger negative size high grain film = 8 feet high.
If I am creating a scene from your photos there is no cost for this extra service of creating the photomural as long as Panoramic Photomurals Inc. can retain the rights to post the final image to our website and sell the final image to other customers. If you prefer that your image remain yours not for sale to others then pricing will depend on time to produce, depending on quality of images and # of photos involved.
